WE THINK WE WANT TO BE PROBLEM FREE
We’re sure we don’t need the anxiety and confusion that accompany all the unexpected situations in our lives. But really struggles offer us the opportunities to remember the Holy Spirit. Struggles bring us to our knees.
Observing all experiences from a third heaven view changes us, and our very lives, completely. Each struggle, when you seek to view it from a heavenly perspective, a third heaven view, literally changes you. It literally has the power to completely change you and your situation.
When will we learn to accept our “so called” problems as vehicles for the journey to Peace. Dreading them or responding to them with fear never comfort us. It’s actually the very opposite, in fact.
Listen, this tiny change in our mindset actually changes how we experience all of life. Seeing your problems as a vehicle for promotion and positioning or seeing it with fear and anxiety is actually just a choice.
Gosh, How profoundly different we would feel if we decided to rely on the Holy Spirit for interpretation of the events of the day.
Practicing the presence of the Holy Spirit fills us with peace and joy and love. We could’ve learned long time ago. Let’s not waste anymore time.
Choose to see anew today. Just today try fasting from fear.
Wanting to change all the circumstances in our lives to meet our specifications and our deemed “needs” is so common that we think it is normal. Not only do we want to change every detail, or control it. Then we find it odd that we butt heads with all the other EGOS who are also trying to control every event and detail. Most days are riddled with conflict and we seldom meet the end of a day with success. Opposing opinions are not easily blended. LOL
WHEN YOU CAN’T CHANGE THE PEOPLE OR SITUATIONS IN YOUR LIFE
What comes next? What do you do? Underlying anger that is covered up by wearing a mask?
Bouts of depression covered up with fake “I am doing great, brother, blessed and winning”?
Addictions to porn, alcohol or even Facebook?
Or did you acquire a “wonderful” tool that is ever ready at your disposal; you sulk, you scream, throw things, or maybe just withdraw or maybe even plan your revenge? “I just won’t talk to them? I will just delete them!”
Withdrawal without communication is the same thing as revenge. Ouch.
You justify it by saying you’re only protecting yourself. Who are you to protect yourself? Isn’t He are true Protector? an emotionally mature man or woman will go to the offending party and have a discussion before dusting off their feet. OHHHHH how we feel entitled with the age of social media.
Even the most casual encounters you happen upon with other human beings are not without reason.
They are never coincidental or accidental.
Nope. I call them heart encounters. . . sometimes I call them heart tests.
I know it sounds silly. I mean . . . how can a chance encounter with someone I met on a bus or in a grocery store really matter? ohhhh but they do. . . yes they do . . .
Imagine, some of the most terrible situations have played their role, beckoning us to another person for a lesson we each need.
When the outcome has been violent or tragic, we ABHOR the idea that it served a purpose.
How can our “education” be so intentionally painful? THIS is where we miss it. THIS is where we start to BLAME God and become ANGRY with HIM and our outcome. THIS is what the emotionally and spiritually immature do.
They blame and they project onto another person or another entity.
We are free agents and life “happens” Yes, most of the population just allow life to “happen” They have zero control. They never learned to use their authority. They never learned to take their thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ.
They never learned to STAY in the Fruit of the Spirit.
They just flow with every crazy, depressing, fearful, maddening, angry thought. Which then turns to crazy, depressing, fearful, maddening, angry action.
WHAT’S THE TRUTH
This is where TRUTH comes in. The beauty of our Savior is that the Spirit of God is the expert at turning every bad situation into a great, positive, amazing lesson.
At present you may be temporarily harassed by all kinds of trials. This is no accident. It happens to prove your faith which is infinitely more valuable than gold. 1 Peter 1:6-7
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children Genesis 50:14-21
But with the Spirit of Truth, what a refreshing response we are able to make now. And it’s so simple. Isn’t it funny how it never occurred to us before, but our entire identity was wrapped in our need to be right, to be in control. Can we really part with that need?
When we decide to seek another way to see the struggle we’re in removes the stress and the burden of whatever is happening. Only after trying this on many occasions do we fully appreciate how good life can be when it’s just left alone. Left alone. Let go. Let be. Flow with the Spirit of change. Fasting from conflict.
Today is our chance to look for agreement with others. We find it every time if we really want it.
