He has served as Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor before joining Smith Street Baptist Church. Favorite Verse: Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
ABOUT CURT TOOTLE
Curt was born November 20, 1991 in Vidalia, Georgia to parents Suzanne Smith and David Tootle. He was married to Destiny DeFore of Collins, GA on August 13th.
He grew up in Alston, GA in a small Southern Baptist Church where he was discipled by Reverend Chester Proctor and Reverend Doyle Waller. God revealed a calling on his life to the ministry at the age of 16, but like so many others before him, his own fear and selfishness caused him to run from God.
Six years and many trials later, by the grace of God, He has answered the calling on his life and was ordained on April 27, 2014. He joined Change 4 That during it’s first season and has been with the show over a year.
Favorite Verse: Romans 8:28 “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
